GENEROSITY IS OUR HEARTBEAT.

OurGenerosity.

Generosity Is Our Heartbeat

"The world of the generous gets larger and larger."
— Proverbs 11:24 (MSG)

At Elevate Life Church, generosity is not something we do—it's who we are. We believe that God’s love is the greatest force for transformation, and that one of the clearest ways we reflect His love is through giving.

We give because Jesus gave first.
We give because we believe in the mission: MAKING HEAVEN MORE CROWDED AND DISCIPLES THAT FOLLOW JESUS.
We give because generosity changes lives—both ours and those we reach.

When you give, you're not just funding a church—you’re building the Kingdom:

+ Reaching the lost
+ Resourcing ministries that serve families and communities
+ Creating an atmosphere of hope and healing
+ Raising up leaders
+ Empowering the next generation

We believe that generosity makes us healthy, happy, and strong—improving our relationships and expanding our impact. At ELC, we live with a "get to" attitude, not a "have to" one. Giving is a privilege, not a burden.

We are a church of contributors, not consumers. We bring our time, talent, treasure, and temple—all for God's glory.

ShowGenerosity

Thank you for partnering with us to build a church where people can Know God, experience life transformation, and walk in their God-given purpose. Together, let’s make Heaven more crowded.

"It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving". — Mother Teresa

Every gift matters. Every act of generosity makes a difference.

WhyWe Give.

Generosity is Our Heartbeat

At Elevate Life Church, generosity is not just an action — it is a reflection of the heart of God and an expression of worship.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16 (NIV)

God gave first — and because He gave, we give.

Our Heart of Giving

We give joyfully, not out of obligation or religious duty, but out of love for God and love for people.

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:7 (ESV)

We believe GENEROSITY IS OUR HEARTBEAT — it makes us healthy, makes us happy, and makes us effective in building the Kingdom of God.

“The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller.”
Proverbs 11:24 (MSG)

When we give, we participate in the mission of Jesus:
TO MAKE HEAVEN MORE CROWDED AND MAKE DISCIPLES THAT FOLLOW JESUS.

T-Rated Giving

At ELC, we believe in living T-Rated lives — giving God our:

  • Time — serving, showing up, making room for what matters most.

“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity…”
Ephesians 5:15-16 (NIV)

  • Talent — using our God-given gifts to build His church.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.”
1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)

  • Treasure — honoring God with our finances, investing in eternity.

“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing…”
Proverbs 3:9-10 (NIV)

  • Temple — stewarding our bodies, minds, and hearts as temples of the Holy Spirit.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV)

The Impact of Our Giving

When we live generously, we:
Advance the Gospel
Resource ministries to serve families and communities
Empower leaders
Raise up the next generation
Meet needs locally and globally
Reflect the heart of our Father in Heaven

“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”
2 Corinthians 9:11 (NIV)

At ELC, we are contributors, not consumers. We don’t give because we “have to”—we give because we GET to.

Together, we are building a culture of honor, generosity, and excellence — a church where lives are transformed, families are restored, leaders are empowered, and Heaven is more crowded because of our giving.

Thank you for living T-Rated with us. Together, we are making an eternal difference.

FAQGenerosity.

Why does ELC teach about giving?

Because the Bible teaches about giving — and we believe that generosity is a key part of spiritual growth. Giving is worship. It honors God, reflects His nature, and positions us to make a greater impact in the world.

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.”Acts 20:35 (NIV)
“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.”Proverbs 3:9 (NIV)

What is Tithing?

The word “tithe” means “tenth.” In Scripture, the tithe is giving the first 10% of your income to God.

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing…”
Malachi 3:10 (NIV)

We tithe out of obedience and trust, knowing God is our ultimate Provider.

Do I have to tithe?

We believe giving is not about obligation — it’s about opportunity. God calls us to give, not because He needs it, but because it grows us. Tithing is one way we practice putting God first in our finances, trusting Him above all else.

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”2 Corinthians 9:7 (ESV)

At ELC, you belong before you believe, and before you give. We teach generosity because it brings freedom and blessing, but we never give to get — we give because He gave first.

What does it mean to live T-Rated?

At ELC, we teach T-Rated living — giving God our:
Time — serving and making room for what matters. (Ephesians 5:16)
Talent — using our gifts to build the church. (1 Peter 4:10)
Treasure — honoring God with our finances. (Proverbs 3:9-10)
Temple — stewarding our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Generosity is not just about money — it’s about your whole life being surrendered to Jesus.

How much should I give?

We encourage everyone to start where they are at. We encourage to honor God with the biblical tithe (10%) and grow from there. We also teach offerings — giving above the tithe to missions, building campaigns, and outreach.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV)

Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you — it’s not about the amount, it’s about the heart.

Where does my giving go?

Your giving goes to build the church and advance the Kingdom:

  • Reaching people for Jesus

  • Discipleship and leadership development

  • Local and global outreach

  • Ministry to kids, youth, and families

  • Building and resourcing environments where people encounter God

Every dollar you give is sown into life transformation — and together, we are making Heaven more crowded!

Is online giving secure?

Yes! We use trusted, encrypted platforms for online giving to ensure your information is safe. You can also give via mail, text-to-give, or in person.

Can I give non-financially?

Absolutely. We believe T-Rated living includes your time and talent too! Serving on a team, using your gifts, or giving practical resources is a powerful way to live generously.

"A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." — Proverbs 11:25
